The ski tour is planned as such that the Grossglockner is circumnavigated on skis. Starting point of the tour is the Lucknerhaus (1920m), from where you skin up in 2.5 hours to the Stuedl hut (2802m), where you will spend the night with your guide.
Early next morning we skin up and over the Teischnitz glacier to our high point, the Romariswandkopf (3511m). After an exiting run down through seracs on the Teufelscamp glacier and later the the Pasterze glacier, we put our skins back on for the long and steep climb up the Hofmanns glacier to the Adlersruhe (3454m). From here we can look forward to a long run down over the Koednitz glacier back to the Stuedlhut and beyond to our final destination at the Lucknerhaus.
