Tour description

Starting point of the tour is the Lucknerhaus, from where you hike in 2.5 hours on a marked hiking trail to the Stuedl hut, where you will meet your guide at around 7p.m. for a briefing and equipment check.
An early start has us soon traversing the Teischnitz glacier below the Glocknerwand to the summit of the Teufelscamp (3560m/2.5h). From here we switch from snow/ice to easy but exposed rock climbing (2+ UIAA scale) all the way to the summit of this lonely peak, the 4th highest in Austria. Here we are rewarded by the unique views into the North face of the Grossglockner and all the other mountain ranges of the eastern alps.
Descent the same route back to the Stuedl hut.
